M-150 Energy Drink Unleashed The Northern Adventure Race

M-150’s Northern Adventure Race was held last September 19, 2009. It is a point-to-point endurance race event wherein strategic checkpoints and pit stops are located in different places in the Northern Luzon area namely: Manila, Baguio, San Fernando, La Union, Dagupan and Subic. Participants can form a team of 2 to 3 persons, and of course, they must be 18 years old or above. They are not encouraged to break the law or to perform any act of reckless driving. So even though this is a race, all participants are expected to finish in the least time and staying within the speed limits.

The race started at 8:00 am in Ortigas Home Depot. There were 50 teams who participated in this race. I believe this event was not only made for male participants, but for females too. It has been a great start for everyone but unfortunately, some teams experienced mechanical trouble, to the extent of pushing the car. Some cars won’t even start and some had trouble with the police, but they’re far from giving up! When everyone is eyeing on the grand prize, others are just enjoying the ride.

Congratulations to the Champion of the M-150 Unleashed Northern Adventure Race Event:

Champion: Team DKC (Car 010) - Arnel Carlos and Niño Satre
2nd Place: Team Dorifto (Car 088) - Ramon Arriola and Jonathan Arriola
3rd Place: Team Gateau de Manille (Car 711) - Pathrick Bautista and Joseph Quijano

The Grand Prize winners were able to take home Php 50,000 cash, Special Edition Jacket, M-150 Energy Drink Products and other Special Gift Packs.

This M-150 Energy Drink Unleashed The Northern Adventure Race was definitely a success! You may visit their site at http://www.m150.com.ph for more information.

M-150 Energy Drink

Thailand’s most popular energy drink has arrived in the Philippines! M-150 comes in a dark brown 150 ml glass bottle. Is it possible that’s where the name M-150 came from? The bottle’s sticker is mainly yellow, with the logo of a sheriff’s badge and a big yellow “M” in the middle. The “M” is situated in a thin yellow circle which contains three words: Devotion, Courage, Sacrifice.

M-150 tastes like a light lemon (but sweet) in liquid form and is best when consumed chilled, otherwise you’ll feel like drinking a liquid medicine. It has a refreshing taste compared to other energy drinks.

This energy drink is loaded with Natural Sugar and two Monosaccharides (Glucose and Fructose), Natural Caffeine, Taurine, L-Carnitine, Ginseng, and B-Complex Vitamins namely Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin Phosphate Sodium (Vitamin B2), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Pantothenol (Vitamin B5) and Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6).

When waking up in the morning, and you still feel tired and need some energy, M-150 will surely get you supercharged and boost your energy level to start the day. It relieves fatigue efficiently and it will give you the stamina and mental alertness you need to tackle any challenge.

Try M-150 Energy Drink now!

Casa San Pablo Wedding Venue

Kayrine’s big day has finally arrived. My friends and I woke up so early so that we can go to Laguna for her wedding day. The weather forecasts said there’s going to be a typhoon this weekend. But we brave ourselves and still went to Laguna. Kayrine’s wedding was a very rainy day! Good thing we left Manila at an earlier time, otherwise, we will be trapped in the South Luzon Expressway, like the others guests to her wedding. It was a solemn mass, composed of family and close friends only. The reception was held at Casa San Pablo.

The food was delicious, and the hot cup of soup really soothed our bodies due to the cold weather. We were about to go home when we realized it’s too dangerous. We watched the television and saw what was happening in Manila. Text messages were also delayed, and according to my brother, they have no electricity. It’s a good thing Kayrine’s venue was a board and lodging type. It has become fully-booked for the night. Luckily I was able to borrow my friend’s laptop and started writing. I’m not sure of when I can use the internet again because, as everyone’s saying, “Manila is such a mess.” We were still lucky we’re in a safe place, with enough water to drink and a good bed to rest in.

Busy Week, I can't play Farm Town

I’m just so busy this week, I barely have the time to open my Facebook account. When I had the opportunity to do so, I immediately opened my Farm Town game. Good thing my pumpkins have not yet gone to waste. I hired some people from the market to harvest and plow my farm. While playing Farm Town, I also opened my Farmville game. Too bad my crops died and of course, I lost a great amount of money. I have a lot of Facebook requests and because of that, I needed a lot of time to approve each of them. I just hope Facebook will have an “accept all” button for all of the requests. That will surely shorten my time to manually accept everything!

Laguna’s Ancestral Houses and Their Capiz Windows

Whenever I go to our province in Laguna, I can’t help but feel nostalgic. My grandparent’s house was an old one. As far as I can remember, a typhoon struck the province and destroyed some of the properties of the villagers. Since our house was one of the oldest, the structures become weak and the roof was gone too. So my grandparents decided to renovate our ancestral house. Too bad I wasn’t able to say “good bye” to our dear house.

I walked around the neighborhood to adore those remaining old houses and huge Capiz windows. This house was one of my favorites. My mom told me this was the most luxurious house when she was still young.

But all I can remember about this house was their magnificent water fountain. I’m not sure if it’s still functioning now. While taking a photo of this house, I noticed the cute dog on the balcony, she’s as if looking at me too!

I really love huge Capiz windows! Our new house wasn’t made from wood anymore, that’s why we don’t have those windows anymore. Here are some of the houses with huge glass windows.

I noticed all of these houses have the same style and design, the typical wood house with huge windows. No wonder I really feel nostalgic seeing them. Maybe in the older days, these types of houses are what’s “IN” that’s why their looks are just the same. I hope we can have one of those Capiz windows again in our future house construction.

Hinder - Lips of an Angel

Honey why you calling me so late?
It's kinda hard to talk right now.
Honey why are you crying? Is everything okay?
I gotta whisper 'cause I can't be too loud

Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's funny that you're calling me tonight
And, yes, I've dreamt of you too
And does he know you're talking to me
Will it start a fight
No I don't think she has a clue

Well my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

Honey why you calling me so late?

Dekaron Incar Magician’s First Five Armor Sets

After three days of playing Dekaron as an Incar Magician, our character reached level 45. Not too high tough, because my brother and I weren’t that serious in leveling up. But at least she was able to wear 5 sets of armors!

Default Armor Set

Breath Armor Set - Level 2

Muse Armor Set - Level 14

Minerva Armor Set - Level 27

Supia Armor Set - Level 40

We realized how powerful a magician can be. Even in her low levels, she can annihilate mobs in a single blow. Since we now have a “new pet,” I guess I’ll take a break from my other Facebook games. I will even refrain from opening my Facebook account from now on so that I won’t be tempted to play. Hehehe!

Facebook Pet Society Fireplace

I’ve made a cozy spot for reading or just sipping coffee for my pet in Pet Society (Wahahaha! As if pets could read!). Since I live in a tropical country, majority of the household here rarely have a fireplace. So I decided to have one, at least in my virtual world! Again, thanks to Ashley for the gifts! ♥♥♥ xoxo ♥♥♥

Dekaron Incar Magician

We have a long vacation this week, it means more holidays and more time to spend with my family. My brother and I decided to make a new character in Dekaron Online, which is the Incar Magician.

The Mage is the basic sorcerer class of Dekaron. They are capable of using magical spells such as Fire, Ice and Lightning. They have strong AOE (Area of Effect) damage and probably the strongest damage dealers in the game.

This characters is so lucky, we already have a Segnale (The Healer) to help her level up faster. With the (3-day) 20% increase experience amulet, our mage have a higher chance of getting to at least level 40 within the next three days. I haven’t played this game for a long time and watching my brother play made me more excited. I just love times like these. My brother and I would play the game and I‘ll just sit beside him and coach the game. It’s pretty exciting because even though I’m not playing, I can never replace this memory of bonding together. We always create strategies and techniques for our characters. Sometimes he would joke about buying a new laptop so that we can play online together. Maybe a new laptop will finally be in our next “To Buy” list!

How to Make Soap Bubbles

Do you still remember those days when Gumamela (Hibiscus) flowers are used to make soap bubbles to last longer? I have a neighbor with Gumamela plants and playmates would often pick some from her garden. Every afternoon at about 4pm, we would meet up on our front gate. My siblings and I were almost always assigned to bring the used tins cans/containers and detergent powder, while our other playmates bring the water, “walis tingting” (broomsticks) and the Gumamela flowers. For those how to make raw bubbles, here’s how:

1. Crush the Gumamela flowers using stones.

2. Pour the water on the tin can or any container.

3. Mix the detergent powder with the water and stir thoroughly.

4. Add the crushed Gumamela flowers on the water and detergent mixture. Stir thoroughly.

5. Make use of the “walis tingting” (broomstick) to create a loop for the soap bubbles. Then dip the “walis tingting” on the mixture and start the fun blowing bubbles!

Too bad younger people nowadays aren’t used to this raw soap bubble making thing. I think one can buy these ready made soap bubble containers from the local market at a reasonably low price of Php 10.00 per piece.

What I like when making the soap bubbles is the “process” of making it from scratch which makes it more memorable for the whole group. But acquiring the soap bubbles whether from scratch or buying it from the market, nothing beats the fun of enjoying it with friends!

Facebook Sorority Life New Look

I just started playing Sorority Life a few days ago, and now they have a new look. It’s more sophisticated and user-friendly than before. I love the icons’ glam outfits. Too bad those clothes were not purchasable in the game.

Farm Town Labyrinth

I reached level 28 a couple days ago and I noticed I haven’t remodeled my farm for a long time. I’m getting bored with the look of my farm that’s why I realized to make a major one. I really love this movie when I was still young, The Labyrinth by Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie. That’s why I decided to make one.

I googled some labyrinth images and I used it to create one for my farm. It wasn’t an easy task, considering I have to delete my old farm and transfer all the trees one by one, not to mention I have a really big farm lot. I also have to count the distances between the ledges. It took me almost 5 hours before I was able to finish my masterpiece. It wasn’t really that perfect, but for me, it was enough. Even though I won’t be able to have my “real labyrinth” at least now I have one in Farm Town!

Farewell, President Corazon Aquino

Yesterday was declared a holiday due to President Cory Aquino’s funeral. My family decided to stay at home and watch the funeral on the television. I can really feel how the Filipinos love Cory. Her funeral was like that of Michael Jackson’s. Everyone went to the streets and gave tribute to our beloved President. I can’t express exactly how I feel while watching the live telecast on ABS-CBN Channel 2. I couldn’t imagine how moving it could have been for those people who went there and waited along the streets for so many hours without food and water. Not to mention those who walked from Manila Cathedral to Manila Memorial Park. It has indeed become a significant part of our Philippine History.

I may not be there to witness that memorable event personally, but that day made me become proud to be a Filipino. Thank you for the democracy and the freedom, President Cory. It made us realize how important and valorous yellow is. I hope one day, someone will stand up for the Filipinos again and continue the things you left for us. We love you, President Cory.
